One man from Louisiana and one from Texas are accused of shark fishing violations in Plaquemines Parish. State wildlife agents say the two have been accused of taking more sharks than allowed, concealing illegal fish, and removing shark fins and throwing the bodies overboard. The Department of Wildlife and Fisheries says agents found 11 whole sharks on a boat _ and more than 2,000 fins. Based on the number of fins, agents estimated that they had killed 529 sharks. The daily commercial limit for sharks in Louisiana is 33 per vessel.
