Disgraced former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin's sentencing has been delayed again,until July 9th.

The Times Picayune is reporting that Nagin could be sentenced up to 20 years in prison Nagin was convicted of 20 counts related to accepting cash, gifts and travel from  city contractors who were competing for government contracts.

Nagin's attorney Robert Jenkins has asked for leniency in Nagin's sentencing, noting that “Mr. Nagin has been a devoted father, husband and supportive child to his parents, and greatly cares for the well-being of his family and is their caretaker. He is highly respected in the community and for good reason.”
