School Buses Broken Into In Waskom

Thieves broke into several school buses in Waskom, Texas over the New Year's weekend.

When staff arrived Monday morning to get back to work, they found that thieves had broken into the bus barn and cut batteries out of at least 6 buses. Police also found that the burglars also got into a freezer on the property. That freezer is used to store items for the district's food service program. The break-in did not impact school getting back to session in Waskom.
