Safety Checkpoint Tomorrow in Bossier
Another Bossier safety checkpoint is coming up…soon! The Bossier City
Police Department will conduct a sobriety checkpoint tomorrow night at a location south of I-20. Officers will be looking for intoxicated drivers in an effort to reduce deaths and injuries from alcohol-related traffic crashes. But, of course, they’ll also be checking for other violations — including open containers of alcohol, no seat belt use and no proof of insurance. The checkpoint is funded by a grant from the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission.
