Plain Dealing Man Jailed For Child Endangerment

Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen says a Plain Dealing man was arrested yesterday morning for domestic abuse child endangerment.Rodney Scott Dupree, II, 25, of the 10000 block of Highway 3, walked outside of his residence to use the phone. When he returned, he began arguing with his live-in girlfriend. The victim went outside, and Dupree followed her. He then pushed her and hit her in the mouth. He began dragging her into the back yard, but she was able to get away. She ran into the house and locked the door behind her. The victim was trying to call authorities for help when Dupree broke the door, took the phone away from her, and broke it.  The abuse occurred in front of their 18-month old son.

Dupree was arrested and transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility for booking. His bond is pending.
