The LHSAA notified Parkway High School coaches that the school used an inelugible player in five games.

Parkway is 6-2 on the season, but would have to forfeit those five games. The player in question is not a starter, but recently mived to South Bossier. The problem is he did not change his address on state forms. Parkway is planning to appeal this ruling.

Although the LHSAA found no negligence by Parkway High School regarding allegations of recruiting, no evidence of the student athlete’s move being for athletic purposes or maintaining dual residency, the implication of the Bona Fide Change of Residence Rule violation will effectively end Parkway’s season after week 10

Parkway's coach David Feaster says: "We strongly disagree with this ruling and it is our belief due diligence was followed to ensure the student athlete met all residency requirements to attend Parkway High School."

An appeal has been filed with the LHSAA, which will be heard Wednesday, November 5, 2014, before the Executive Committee in Baton Rouge. It is Parkway’s hope, after hearing the facts of this case, the ruling will be overturned and the Panthers will be able to continue their 2014-15 season.
