Overdue Parking Meter Fines to Go Up

If you have any outstanding parking tickets, it would be a good idea to pay them this week. The fine for late payment goes up next Monday. The basic cost of a ticket remains the same — $10 — but the fine for not paying it in ten days is going up from $20 to $50. You can pay your ticket in a nuimber of ways — in person, on-line, or by mail. And remember that unpaid tickets and fines can lead to having your car booted.
