Northeast Texas Motorcyclist Killed in Wreck

A motorcycle rider has been killed in Texarkana, Texas.  The Texarkana Police Department says 48-year-old Dominic Mazzucco of Hooks, Texas, was headed east in the 2000 block of S. Lake Drive about one o'clock this afternoon when a westbound SUV turned in front of him.  Mazzucco was unable to avoid the crash and ran into the passenger side of the SUV.  He was rushed to Wadley Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.  Police say charges are pending against 26-year-old Humberto Hernandez-Domengez -- the driver of the SUV.  The vehicle's owner, 30-year-old Javier Gomez, has been issued a citation for allowing an unlicensed driver to operate a motor vehicle.
