Mudbugs Win Pivotal Game 5!

Quite the night for Mudbugs offense.  David Rutherford got a hat trick to help push the Bugs into the lead in the championship series with Colorado.

Justin Aikins and Nick Layton added three more goals as the local team roared to a 7-2 win in Game 5 of the Presidents’ Cup Finals Friday night at the CenturyTel Center. The Mudbugs have wrapped up play on the home ice and head off to Colorado for game six and seven (if needed) with the Bugs up 3 games to 2.  Game 6 is Wednesday night and you can hear all the action on 710 KEEL or online at 710keel.com.
