The Shreveport Mudbugs hockey team were awarded their league's "Franchise of the Year" Wednesday, a prize that culminated their inaugural season in the North American Hockey League. In addition, General Manager Scott Muscutt was named GM of the year as Shreveport finished second in the league in attendance with more than 2,800 fans a game.

Muscutt tells 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty the reasons for the 'Bugs success and plans to continue to grow the game in the ArkLaTex.
