There are three productions in various stages going on in our area right now -- the CMT reality show "My Big Redneck Family," the movie "Shut In" and the Hank Williams biopic "I Saw the Light."

According to the Shreveport-Bossier Film Office, filming for "My Big Redneck Family" will tie up traffic today in downtown Shreveport.  There will be interruptions on McNeill Street between Texas and Travis from 2:30 until 5 p.m. The next show airs Tuesday, August 26.

Today, filming wraps up for "Shut In." But we can't seem to find any information on what it's about...or even who's starring in it.

The big one for us is the Hank Williams film "I Saw the Light," starring Tom Hiddleston. Filming is set to start in mid-October and wrap up this December. No other cast members have been announced yet, but the film's producers are taking resumes. Since Williams was a regular on the Louisiana Hayride, it's likely the Municipal Auditorium could be a prime filming location. But that isn't confirmed yet.

Daily Mail did a great interview with Hiddleston about his preparations for playing Hank Williams, which he calls "the opportunity of a lifetime." The actor, best known for playing Loki in the "Thor" movies, will be singing!
