A home identified in October as the site of a large-scale marijuana-growing operation gets another visit from law enforcement. This time, Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics agents found 47 marijuana plants inside, valued at $47,000.

The home in the 1900 block of Roy Road is part of an investigation that began October 10. At that time, agents recovered 21 pounds of processed marijuana and 60 mature plants. There was also evidence that hundreds more plants had been previously harvested. Those were valued at more than $250,000.

Agents say 59-year-old Jimmy Tigues and his brother, 61-year-old John Tigues, Jr., were both arrested for possessing marijuana with intent to distribute. Jimmy was also charged with being a fugitive from the City Marshal's Office. They've been booked into Caddo Correctional Center.
