Mississippi Man Arrested For Mailing Letters With Ricin To President Obama

CORINTH, Miss. (AP) — A Mississippi man accused of mailing letters with suspected ricin described uncovering a conspiracy to trade human body parts on the black market and sometimes performed as an Elvis Presley impersonator.

Forty-five-year-old Paul Kevin Curtis was arrested Wednesday at his home in Corinth, about 100 miles east of Memphis, Tenn.

The FBI said he was suspected of mailing letters to President Barack Obama and Mississippi Sen. Roger Wicker that were intercepted Tuesday and tested positive for the poison. Conclusive tests were pending.

Police in Corinth had Curtis' home in a subdivision surrounded by yellow crime scene tape, though neighbors weren't evacuated. It wasn't clear where he was being held.
