It's not scheduled to open until June, but the Margaritaville Resort and Casino already has a General Manager.  And he's no stranger to Shreveport/Bossier.  Barry Regula comes here from Harvey, where he's held a similar position with Pinnacle's Boomtown Casino for the past two years.  B ut, for eight years before that, he was Assistant General Manager and then Vice President/General Manager of Pinnacle's Boomtown Casino and Hotel in Bossier City.  Margaritaville Chief Executive Officer Paul Alanis calls Regula the ideal person to lead Margaritaville to become the premier gaming and entertainment destination in northwest Louisiana.
