Man Arrested for Rape of Child

Caddo sheriff's detectives have arrested a 23-year-old Bossier parish man for the 2005 aggravated rape of a young girl.  Troy Roundtree was indicted by a Caddo Parish grand jury last Friday.  Caddo detectives located him at his home in Haughton.  He was arrested and booked into the Bossier jail as a fugitive.  Now he's been transferred to Caddo Correctional Center where he's being held on $250,000 bond.  A news release from the Sheriff's Office says the victim in the case was six years old at the time the offense occurred.  She later confided to her DARE instructor, Caddo Deputy Dorothy Carter, who investigated and arrested Roundtree.
