A man wanted for stealing $27,000 worth of farm equipment from a farm in Plain Dealing has been arrested by the Miller County, Arkansas, Sheriff's Office at his home in Fouke.

35-year-old Jamie Lynn Caswell was arrested on a Bossier Sheriff's Office warrant for felony theft.

Caswell was initially arrested last week by Miller County deputies after he was found to be in possession of two of the three pieces of stolen equipment.  But he told detectives he was asked by somebody else to sell the items and bonded out of jail.  After further investigation, detectives determined that he was, in fact, the thief and he was re-arrested this morning.

Although the stolen John Deere corn header and water pump have been recovered, a New Holland 320 hay baler valued at $1,500 is still missing.  Detectives are asking anybody who may have purchased a hay baler from Caswell in the past few weeks to contact Bossier Crime Stoppers at 318-424-4100 or Bossier Sheriff's Detective Charlie Myrick at 318-965-2203.
