Louisiana State Supreme Court Justice Scott Crichton talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about the death penalty, its implementation and, more specifically, the years of delays that seem to go along with every case.

Crichton tells KEEL listeners about the current status of numerous Louisiana death row inmates, including Nathaniel Code, who's been awaiting execution for nearly three decades. The Shreveport native also talks about methods of execution, including newly developed "lethal cocktails" to replace those banned by courts in a number of states.
