Lots Of Teachers Out Today

A couple of hundred teachers from Shreveport and Bossier are taking a day off today. They have traveled to Baton Rouge to join with thousands of other teachers from around the state to rally at the Capitol against the governor's education reforms.

The Senate is expected to discuss the proposal. No classes have been cancelled locally, but dozens of substitute teachers have been called in to cover the classes.
