UPDATE: Local Man Missing from Nursing Home Found

[UPDATE: Police report Mr. Young has been found -- safe and sound -- following a day-long search.]

Police are asking the public for help in locating a man who apparently walked away from a south Shreveport assisted living facility this morning.  58-year-old Will Lee Young was reported missing just after 10:00 by staff at Heritage Manor South Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in the 9700 block of Mansfield Road.  He's believed to have walked away from there about an hour earlier.  Police say young is suffering from Alzheimer's disease.  He's described as a black male, approximately 5'7" and weighing about 175 pounds.  He was last seen wearing a dark blue and green striped shirt and blue jeans.  If you should see him or know where he might be, you're asked to call Shreveport police or Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers.
