Local Emergency Management Officials Assisting in Flood Relief

Some local emergency preparedness staffers headed south this morning — in response to the Mississippi River flooding. Caddo-Bossier Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness Director Sandy Davis and two senior staff members — John Fulco and Robert Jump — are going to Assumption Parish for a seven-day tour. They’ll be providing assistance as a Disaster Emergency Management Team. They’ll also deploy unique communications equipment that will greatly assist in this type of regional disaster response coordination effort.
