Local Crime Stoppers Coordinator Becomes Regional Representative

Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers Coordinator Jim Taliaferro has been selected by Crime Stoppers USA as the geographic representative of Region 5, which encompasses Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. Sgt. Taliaferro says this came as a bit of a surprise to him, since there were so many other nominees he felt deserved the honor. This is a two-year selected position. He says this honor speaks volumes about our local Crime Stoppers program. He says the use of electronic media -- and the help of media partners -- helped escalate it to new heights.
