Louisiana Residents Hoping for Big Lottery Win This Week

SHREVEPORT, LA - The lottery jackpots are climbing to monster numbers this week. The top prizes in the Powerball and Mega Millions are worth a combined $873 million this week.

The $525 million dollar Mega Millions jackpot is up for grabs on Friday, February 23. The lump sum payout is $247 million.

The Powerball jackpot for tonight (Wednesday February 21) is worth $348 million with a one time payout of $164 million.

Here’s a list of the top 24 prizes from Powerball and Mega Millions:

$2.04 billion, Powerball was won by one ticket in California on November 8, 2022.

$1.765 billion Powerball won by one winning ticket in California on October 11, 2023.

$1.602 Mega Millions August 8, 2023 won by one ticket in Florida.

$1.586 billion Powerball January 13, 2016. There were 3 winning tickets for this prize. These tickets were purchased in Tennessee, Florida, and California. Each had the option to take a lump sum of $327.8 million.

$1.348 billion Mega Millions won by one ticket on January 13, 2023. That ticket was sold in Maine.

$1.337 billion Mega Millions was won by one ticket in Illinois on July 29, 2022.

$1.08 Billion Powerball was won by one ticket in California on July 19, 2023.

05 billion Mega Millions was won by the Wolverine FLL Club of Oakland County, Michigan in January of 2021.
