A resident's keen eye helps Shreveport police nab a burglary suspect.  Just after 8:30 last night, officers got reports of a suspicious vehicle parked near the 4000 block of Doris Street.  Two people were seen backed into a private lot loading a television into a white four-door sedan.  They were gone when police arrived, but a concerned resident wrote down the car's license plate number and gave it to officers.

A short time later, a residential burglary was reported a block away at a home in the 4000 block of Theo Street.  The homeowner told police her home had been broken into and items were taken.  Patrol officers began looking for the vehicle seen by witnesses earlier, and located it parked at a home in the 3800 block of Doris.  That's where they found 18-year-old Lloyd Ivory, who was taken in for questioning, then booked on one count of burglary of an inhabited dwelling.  They also located property stolen during the burglary inside the sedan, and other items on Ivory himself.

The investigation continues, and one more arrest is expected.
