We first saw the hoverboard as science fiction in the 1989 movie 'Back To the Future'. But now, a California company has made the hoverboard a reality!

The company - Hendo - is owned by a California couple, scientists and inventors both. And the way they explain it, their hoverboard works on the principle of non-ferromagnetic conduction.

But rather than try to explain that one, let's just take a look at this new and amazing invention...which by the way should only set you back about a quarter of a million dollars!
