The Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana is a No-Kill Shelter located at 2544 Linwood Ave, but it is so much more to our community than 'just a shelter.'  I know, because my wife and I are very involved with the "Humane Society."  (My wife MUCH more so than I!)  She does volunteer shifts on a regular basis, as does many people in our community.  The shelter's website says,  We survive solely on donations and volunteers.

I commend those wonderful volunteers that can spend time at the shelter with all of the dogs there, and not want to take every one of them home.  I mean, how can you turn THIS down?

My involvement includes activities more in my wheel-house, like announcing their Bingo Fundraisers, and pictures of your pooch with Santa

But now, the Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana needs your help.  They recently posted on Facebook they have an immediate need for soft dog food.

In need of canned soft dog food. Any brand!!!

Please share and help us stock our cabinets. Our babies need some soft food
