The Red River Region of the SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) held its fourth 2012 Autocross event today on the big parking lot at the deadend of Coleman Street in Bossier City.  We were a bit disappointed to only have 31 drivers show up, but, those who did had an absolute blast on the Barry Booker-designed course.  Times were generally in the 50-second range with the fastest cars and drivers running in the mid-40s.  We started running at 10:15; took a lunch break at mid-day; and were finished just after 2:30.  Each driver got six runs for his/her $20 entry fee.

If you feel up to it, strap on your helmet; climb in; sinch your lap belt down good and tight; and hang on for dear life as I take you for a virtual run in my mighty '65 Austin Mini.
