HOUSTON (AP) — Authorities say six people have been injured at Houston music festival — four were shot and two were injured in the panic after.

Houston police spokeswoman Jodi Silva says witnesses say a man opened fire at 1:55 a.m. Saturday on a crowd of several thousand people inside an arena at the Houston Caribbean Festival, hitting four men.

Silva says people panicked and began to flee, and two females also were hurt. Silva didn't know the extent of their injuries.

Silva says the shooting victims were taken to hospitals, and one man is in critical condition.

There have been no arrests. The Houston Police Department is calling for people with information to come forward.

Silva says off-duty policemen were at the festival but they were on the perimeter of the arena.
