Free Music, Fun Times: MetroPCS Lunch on the Lawn Returns October 14-November 18

The popular Lunch on the Lawn free Friday concerts will return October 14 with a new title sponsor- MetroPCS-, new artists, more vendors and a chance to win lunch for your friends or office!

The musical lineup ranges from jazz to Appalachian fusion to old-time blues and will kick off on the Texas Street side of the Caddo Parish Courthouse each Friday from 11:45am-1:00pm. In addition to music, MetroPCS will draw the business card of one lucky person each week who will win a catered lunch for friends or officemates under the MetroPCS VIP tent on the lawn! Drop a card in the bucket each Friday for a chance to win.

Bring a brownbag lunch, visit one of our downtown restaurants for takeout or purchase from vendors on the lawn offering everything from hotdogs and sandwich boxes to cupcakes and pulled pork tacos!

“The Downtown Development Authority is thrilled to work with MetroPCS to bring this popular and fun event back downtown,” says DDA executive director Liz Swaine. “The courthouse is a beautiful public space, a great place to showcase our amazing local musical talent. We hope lots of people will take a fun break on Fridays to relax, enjoy and eat!”
