The Shreveport Police Department needs your help to find a missing woman who may very well have been the victim of a crime.

At approximately 8:23 a.m. on April 12, 2012, Shreveport Police patrol officers were dispatched to a home in the 1400 block of Oakdale Street relative to a missing person. Upon arrival there, officers contacted family members of 31 year old Myeshia Prince who reported Myeshia was missing.  Patrolmen subsequently went to her home in the 2300 block of Queens Highway and discovered what they believed to be evidence of some type of physical altercation. Crime scene investigators responded and processed the potential crime scene.

Investigators were immediately notified and, based on information gathered during the early stages of their inquiry, now think Myeshia was involved in a domestic dispute with a known male suspect. Authorities are working diligently to locate Myeshia as well as the male subject thought to be involved in this incident in an effort to ensure her well-being.

Myeshia is described as a black female approximately five feet four inches weighing about 125 pounds.  Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Myeshia Prince is urged to call Detective Diana Coleman at 318-673-7020 or Shreveport-Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.
