Hundreds of cases of bottled water and assorted snack food items will soon be on their way from Shreveport to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma to help tornado victims.

The Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana's Martha Marak says it's not uncommon for one food bank to help another.  Marak says the local food bank always tries to stockpile emergency supplies at this time of the year -- whether they'll be needed locally or by another food bank.  She says other food banks have helped ours during emergencies so it's only logical that we should return the favor.
