[UPDATE]  It didn't take long to figure out what caused the light smoke at Bossier Elementary. Bossier City Spokesman Mark Natale tells KEEL News that it came from a motor in a classroom air/heating unit. The breaker connected to it did its job by tripping and turning off the unit, preventing a fire.

[ORIGINAL STORY]  Bossier firefighters are busy checking into a problem at Bossier Elementary School on Traffic Street. Light smoke was reported at the school. A couple of units remain. They're looking for a possible electrical cause, like a burned-out motor on air/heating units. No evacuation was necessary.

We'll bring you more details as we get them.
