Feature Film ‘Campin’ Buddies,’ Starring Mel Tillis, Needs Shreveport-Area Actors
If you’ve been wanting to be part of a locally-filmed movie, here’s your chance. Producers of “Campin’ Buddies” are looking for a principal actors and some background extras for the feature film, which stars Mel Tillis.
You *must* be from the Shreveport area. Here are the roles that need filling:
PRINCIPAL ROLE – Overweight boy ages 9 to 13 – Caucasian, crazy country kid running through the campground, falling and thrashing on the ground, due to the “Shimmy-Shams” (8 lines)
Young boy ages 8 to 13 – Any ethnicity, seen walking through the brush, mistaken for a duck
Three young boys or girls ages 10 to 16 – Any ethnicity, one boy/girl extremely tall, one boy/girl very skinny, one boy/girl odd-looking, unique, maybe nerdy, seen running through the campground
Townspeople age 18 to 99 – ALL ethnicities, country, deliverance types, rednecks, odd looks, missing teeth, long beards, etc.
Three thug/gang guys ages 18 to 40 – ALL ethnicities, tough, thuggish, maybe big, mean, scary
