This is an annual event held at First Baptist Bossier that highlights and honors those who lay down their lives for our protection daily- military, first responders, and law enforcement. We want them to know that we stand with them, by them and appreciate them. So the whole worship service is geared towards honoring them in the service and with a breakfast reception prior to the 9:00a.m. service and a lunch reception after the 10:45a.m. service.
Our program this year will consist of Ret. Lt. Col. Oliver North, Chief David Brown(ret.) of Dallas, TX. and musical artist Taylor Rae of Colorado who will sing the National Anthem and a new song entitled "13 Stripes & 50 Stars.
We will have 2 services on that day with the First Bossier family greeting each guest and and each hero. We expect a record number of people for this event. Dr. Brad Jurkovich is so excited about this event and wants all of our heroes in the Shreveport- Bossier area to attend!
