Embattled Police Dispatcher Gets Her Job Back

The Bossier City Civil Service Board ruled Tuesday that Bossier City Police Dispatcher Tracy Cole should not have been fired earlier this year. Cole was let go from her position after the mishandling of the arrest of Bossier Parish Police Jury member Rick Avery.

However, the board did rule that Cole serve a 90 day suspension. The suspension starts from the day she was fired, May 10th. Cole and her attorney can appeal that decision and attempt to get lost wages.
