Downtown Shreveport Will Get A Landmark Back

In October of 2009 a big storm roared through Shreveport Bossier. It knocked the steeple off of the sanctuary at First United Methodist Church downtown.

The steeple fell on the car of Michael Williams. He was critically hurt. Since that time, church leaders have been working on a plan to replace that steeple. Big cranes will be on the scene next month to replace the steeple.
