One can easily make the case that of all 'The Rat Pack' members, Dean Marin was the coolest. Frank had his famous temper. With his Nehru jackets and litany of 'baby's', Sammy sometimes was trying a little too hard. But Dino, with drink in hand and never in a hurry, was the picture of 50s cool.

After all, who else could, in the middle of the Christmas classic, 'Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer', effortlessly slip into a slightly slurred German dialect and sing, 'Rudolph mit your nose so bright, won't you guide mein sleigh tonight?'
