The LSU Tigers started out quite slow and never really got on track, but Parkway High's Brandon Harris did give the Tigers a little spark at the end of the game.

I'm not the only one to notice Brandon's nice efforts. Deon Sanders tweeted:

Harris was 6 of 9 in passing for 140 yards and 2 TD's.
I hope this gives Brandon the confidence he needs to take over the starting job. He deserves a shot and I hope to see him run out there on the field at the start of the game against New Mexico. His passes were sharp and he looked much more confident in the pocket.

I do have to congratulate Haughton's Dak Prescott on a fabulous game. Prescott passed for two touchdowns and ran 56 yards for another score, and the Bulldogs survived a furious fourth-quarter rally by LSU to snap a 14-game skid in the series, 34-29 on Saturday night.
Prescott and Harris did share a moment after the game.

I know that was a dream come true to play so well in Tiger Stadium! It's Mississippi States first win at LSU since 1991!
Way to go!!
