Local kids can once again have a fun summer...learning how to solve a crime. Registration is underway for the Caddo Sheriff's Crime Scene Investigations Camp for 11- and 12-year-olds. The class is being held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 14th through 16th at Sheriff's Safety Town. Participants will learn how to detect clues and apply CSI techniques at a mock crime scene. They'll collect evidence, take crime scene photos, make shoe impressions, and learn to lift and analyze fingerprints. At the end of the camp, they get to analyze clues and solve a crime! The class is free and open to Caddo Parish kids...but seating is limited to the first 20 participants. Call Safety Town to register -- or go to www.caddosheriff.org for a registration form.
