Several Chesapeake Energy workers rolled up their sleeves this morning to do some landscaping and repairs at the Holy Angels Residential Facility on Ellerby Road. It was part of the company's 2012 "Operation Blue" community initiative, an employee-driven program of volunteer hours donated toward a community project. Chesapeake workers also plan to devote some of their volunteer time to a Community Renewal International Friendship House.

In the accompanying photo, Chesapeake employees Robbie Dean and Jonathan Wheelis re-roof the horticulture building at Holy Angels Residential Facility during the company’s Operation Blue project.
