Louisiana State Police plan to set up a DWI checkpoint tonight -- somewhere in Bossier Parish. It will be operational from about 9:30 'til 11:00. The goal is to identify and remove impaired drivers from the roads before they can cause injury or death to themselves or others. Tomorrow night, from about 10:00 until midnight, troopers will set up another DWI checkpoint -- at an undisclosed location somewhere in Webster Parish. Last year, State Police at Troop G in Bossier City investigated 25 fatal crashes. Of those, 48-percent involved impaired drivers. As the troopers say -- "Drive sober or get pulled over."
