CERT Training Planned

The Caddo-Bossier Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness will be offering a free twenty-hour Community Emergency Response Team training course. It starts next Tuesday evening at the Shreveport Fire Training Academy and runs for three additional Tuesday nights — from six until nine each night. Those participating will learn first aid, light rescue, proper use of residential fire extinguishers, and other individual and family emergency preparedness skills. If you think this is something you’d like to do, contact the Caddo-Bossier Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness.
