Cee-Lo Green’s Tweets Regarding Rape Leave Many Outraged
Cee-Lo Green has stirred up a lot of controversy following his tweets about a rape case he's been embroiled in. Some fans are threatening to never support him again after this.
According to a story from Pop Crush, just days after pleading no contest to slipping a woman Ecstasy in 2012, Cee Lo Green took to Twitter to discuss his case and make some seriously controversial comments about rape — including that “people who have really been raped remember.”
Though he has since deleted all of the tweets, the ‘Voice’ judge apparently went on an intense Twitter rant, in which he tweeted things like “People who have been really been raped REMEMBER!!!” and “If someone is passed out they’re not even WITH you consciously! So WITH implies consent!”
