Caddo and Bossier Parish School Winter Weather Closures
Winter weather is here, and that means schools are closing all around Caddo Parish.
Along with road closures and many other college, business, and local government have announced that they will not be open.
New York City Battles Through Another Winter Storm
Caddo Parish School Board has announced that ALL schools in the Parish will be closed Tuesday (1/16/24) and Wednesday (1/17/24) due to the weather conditions.
Bossier Parish has announced that schools will be closed Tuesday (1/16/24) and that they will make a decision on Wednesday by noon Tuesday.
Other known closures:
-LSUS will be closed Tuesday & Wednesday for all in person classes & activities. However, all online learning will continue as normal.
-Bossier Parish Community College is closed through Wednesday (1/17/24).
-Grambling IS Closed through Wednesday (1/17/24).
-La Tech IS Closed through Wednesday (1/17/24).
-North Louisiana Technical College will hold virtual classes.
-NSU is closed through Wednesday (1/17/24).
-Red River Parish Schools will be holding Virtual classes.
-Natchitoches Parish Schools are closed Tuesday (1/16/24).
-SporTran service will not be running today (1/15/24) .
-All Southern University Shreveport campuses will be closed Tuesday (1/16/24) and Wednesday (1/17/24).
