Bryant Francis Recommended as Next Airports Director

The deputy airport director in Boise, Idaho, is the Shreveport Airport Authority's choice to be the new airports director here. Selection Committee Chairman Keith Gamble says all of the applicants were well-qualified but Bryant Francis really stood out.  The selection committee is also recommending that Interim Airports Director Bill Cooksey be named deputy director, to succeed "Mac" McMillon when he retires at the end of the month. Both recommendations now go to Mayor Glover and, if he approves, to the city council for a final vote.
