Bossier Schoolkids to Compete in Destination ImagiNation

About 40 Bossier Parish school students think using a hands-on approach and teamwork are the answer to best solving a problem. And they plan to put their thinking skills to the test tomorrow. DestiNation Imagi-nation teams from the elementary, middle and high school levels will be competing in the Super Instant Challenge between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. tomorrow at Cope Middle School in Bossier City. Each team will complete a series of eight challenges designed to help students learn engineering concepts, teamwork and creative problem-solving skills. This is the preliminary event leading up to the 2012 Louisiana Destination ImagiNation state competition, which will be held March 10th at Elm Grove Middle School.
