Bossier Parish Schools holds its annual memorial service tonight to honor students and employees who have died this school year.

It's being held at 6PM at First United Methodist Church on John Wesley Boulevard in Bossier City. The public is invited to attend, but out of respect for the families, no photos or video will be allowed inside the church.

"This is a really poignant event. It's our annual memorial service that Bossier Parish Schools has held for the last 15 years. It started in the year 2000." said Bossier Schools Liaison Sonja Bailes. "It gives us a chance to be able to remember those students and employees of Bossier Schools who have passed away during our 2014-15 school year. They may be gone, but they're not forgotten."
