Bossier Drive-By Shooting Leaves One Injured

On Thursday, October 12, 2023 at around 11:30am the BCPD were dispatched to the 2800 block of Patricia Drive, near Airline Drive, in reference to a shooting.

Upon arrival BCPD located a vehicle with multiple bullet holes and a middle-aged male victim inside suffering from gunshot wounds. That male victim was transported to Oschner LSU Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

According to police officials, a vehicle pulled up in the vicinity, and an unidentified individual inside unleashed a barrage of bullets towards the middle-aged victim. The victim, fortunately, only suffered a grazing wound from one bullet and was directly hit by another.

Regrettably, no description of the vehicle involved has been provided at this time. Furthermore, the shooter remains at large, as the police continue their relentless efforts to bring them to justice. The investigation into this distressing incident is ongoing.

As the authorities work diligently to apprehend the perpetrator, the residents of Bossier City are left grappling with the unsettling reality that such acts of violence can occur even in their peaceful neighborhoods.
