Bossier Deputy Arrested and Fired for DWI

BPSO booking photo

Bossier Parish Sheriff Julian Whittington has terminated one of his deputies after that deputy was arrested over the weekend for DWI.  48-year-old Deputy Jesse Williams, Jr., was stopped by a State Trooper on Highway 3 near Benton for traffic violations.  The trooper noticed that Williams appeared intoxicated with bloodshot eyes, a strong odor of alcohol, and having poor balance.  He also performed poorly on the Standard Field Sobriety Test and the trooper found open containers of alcohol in his vehicle.  Williams was booked into Bossier Max on charges of first-offense DWI and open container.
