A Bossier City man and his girlfriend are charged in connection with an overnight armed robbery.

Officers were called to the 3500 block of Kesswick Street late last night to a report that a 63-year-old woman was robbed at gunpoint.

The victim told officers she was approached by a man armed with a gun as she was getting out of her vehicle in her driveway. The man had his face covered, and he robbed the woman of her smartphone and some over-the-counter medication before running to an awaiting vehicle, which sped off.

A short time later, police located the vehicle in the 2400 block of Barksdale Boulevard. The victim's smartphone was inside. An investigation linked 22-year-old Denver Smith and 20-year-old Marina Pasche to the robbery. Both have been booked into the Bossier City Jail.
