Bossier Council on Aging Gets Donated Truck

Chesapeake Energy photo

Chesapeake Energy Corporation has donated a 2009 Ford F-150 pickup truck to the Bossier Council on Aging.  The truck, formerly a part of Chesapeake’s work fleet, will be used by the BCOA for its Meals on Wheels program.  It will be used to deliver meals to seniors living in rural, hard-to-access parts of the parish.  Each year, the BCOA serves more than 68,000 meals to Bossier Pairsh seniors aged 60 and older.  That equates to approximately 275 meals each day.
